My first impression wasn't a positive one but it didn't take long for me to begin to like it a lot

2. Nas - New York State of Mind
I have been meaning to listen to more of his stuff. Maybe now's a good time

3. The Heavy - That Kind of Man
Loved the funk influence

4. Holly Brook - Curious
Nice but it had so much more potential

5. dEUS - Suds & Soda
Didn't care for the occasional screechy instrumentation and poor soundbite-like clips but it was alluring to a small degree

6. Mission of Burma - That's When I Reach for My Revolver
Pretty good chorus but was underwhelming otherwise

7. Goldfrapp - Lovely Head
Liked the vocals but how she presented it was kind of boring

8. Alice in Chains - We Die Young
Didn't really care for it but it at least held my attention to some degree

This is a great track. It does seem a little slow, but he makes up for it with that flow.

Pinback - Tripoli
Not a great like first 10 seconds, but it really gets a lot better. This has good composition and has a great sound too it. The gimmick starts to wear off right before the disc scratching section.

This is a very easy song to get into. It gets a little messy and it might lack a little substance, but it's just good fun music.

I've never been a big Alice in Chains fan. This is pretty good, I mean it still just sounds like some standard stuff to me but there is some good guitar work in here and it really helps the song not become boring.

This is an artist I've listened to a lot before. Eh, this is alright. It creates a really creepy feel, but doesn't do anything spectacular.

This is a pretty well known song. It's alright. It has some cool moments, but there isn't like a big come together or huge solo or soemthing that is often associated with these.

Okay, first off, the lyrics on the video made me XD because of all the emicons on it. Also the prolonged sooooooooo. Anyways, this is okay. It's kinda boring. Honestly, sounds like something Disney would have picked up.

Eh, Kinda boring. Nothing of interest really happens. The bass was nice. The vocals were kinda annoying.

Ah that signature Pinback sound. One of my favorite singles from the band, and a fantastic track in its own right. Love the bassline. 9.2/10

Beautiful post-punk noise. 9.0/10

3. Giggs: Nas - N.Y. State of Mind
This is just too good. 8.7/10

Good stuff. Loud and almost obnoxious. 8.4/10

I love the funk sound. This song did me well, though it could have been a minute shorter. 7.9/10

I may catch hell for not loving Chuck Berry, but I'm not a bag fan of this offering. Although it is classic, I just can't really get into it. 6.5/10

8. JC: Holly Brook - Curious
This reminds me of this annoying Christian singer girl that my roomate always used to listen to. Her voice? Not bad, but I won't be turning back to this one anytime soon. 6.2/10

9. Carl?: Cut Copy - Future
What is this? Not really my cup of tea, I'm afraid. 5.1/10

Always had a soft spot for grunge and I like Alice In Chains. This song is 'cool' and all. Saw 'em live, but with the new singer. They still rocked. 7/10

This is pretty swell and all and 'classic' but basic blues chord progressions are always kind of dull for me. 6/10
Holly Brook - Curious
This is the best JC song so far I think. It's still not very good, sorry brah! 5.5/10

I honestly don't know why I liked this as much as I did. There were so many aspects that normally I don't like but they fit together so well.

Chuck Berry - School Days
Aw yeah.

Mission of Burma - That's When I Reach for my Revolver
This was pretty enjoyable. I felt like the chorus was a little disconnected from the rest of the song but overall alright. Non-chorus parts > chorus parts.

Goldfrapp - Lovely Head
This song was weird. It was one of those songs where I didn't really enjoy it that much but as weird as this sounds, there were practical applications for it. Like, it felt like something that could easily be used in a movie trailer for something. Reminded me a bit of The Beginning is the End is the Beginning even though it TOTALLY SHOULDN'T HAVE.

Nas - N.Y. State of Mind
This was a weird rap song for me because it didn't have an awesome background melody or anything, but the rap itself was good enough to keep it somewhat enjoyable. shut up i'm inexperienced in rap because i really don't like most of what i've heard.

Pinback - Tripoli
Unlike Lockes' Kwoon song a while back, this song is actively detracted from by the fact that I can't understand what they're saying 80% of the time.

Alice in Chains - We Die Young
Meh. Not a big fan of their style of rock.

Cut Copy - Future
This started out sorta cool and then lost its magic as it went on. The vocals really detracted from it honestly.

dEUS - Suds and Soda
I was distracted by the repetitive screaming and wasn't actually able to listen to the rest of the song while the screaming was happening. It was screaming - breaks from screaming - screaming RADUH RADUH RADUH RADUH
