Father evaluation: Peter is dead last for too many reasons to list, Stan is pretty awful as well. That leaves Homer and Hank. They're somewhat even. Hank is more responsible while Homer is more loving(despite him choking Bart a lot). Hank is too narrow minded, but he's also the least destructive of the four.
Mother

Mother evaluation: Marge doesn't even have to try to win this. The closest one is Peggy Hill. Peggy freaking Hill! Marge is the only one of the four that acts like a competent mother. I'll give Peggy credit for trying at least, even if she really seems to not like Bobby growing up. Francine is like the dire version of Peggy when it comes to babying her son. Steve is more like her pet than anything else. As for Lois... she doesn't even deserve to be called a "mother".

Bart Simpson Bobby Hill Steve Smith Chris Griffin Stewie Griffin
Son evaluation: Bart and Bobby are about even. Both can be pretty loving towards their family, though Bobby doesn't have as much good interaction. To be fair his parents aren't the best to hang around with, and he has no other direct family. Most of his best interactions are with his grandfather. The other three sons are also more or less even. Steve has pretty decent interaction with all of his family, except perhaps his sister. He seems rather neutral ground when it comes to anyone but his mother though. Well and Roger. Stewie and Chris are a bit complicated. On the one hand, Stewie seems to have more nicer moments, or at least neutral ones. Chris hasn't tried to kill any members of his family. Tough one imo.
Daughter
Meg Griffin Lisa Simpson Hayley Smith Maggie Simpson
Daughter evaluation: I gotta be honest, I don't think I can fairly rate this. Maggie is too young to really talk to her family, and Meg has to put up with an amazing amount of crap. That leaves Lisa and Hayley. Lisa is the nicest, but she also doesn't have to go through too much beyond her father's stupidity. All four of the daughters have some awesome moments under their belts at least.
Grandfather
Cotton Hill Abe Simpson Francis Griffin Jack Smith Peter Mcfinnigan
Grandfather evaluation: Cotton and Abe are the only two who really gets much screen time. Cotton is a bit messed up towards Hank, but he clearly cares for his younger son and Bobby.(Well he cares for Hank too...) Abe is more comic relief than anything, but he seems to care about his family even if they don't want much to do with him. Francis is kinda of meh for a grandfather, but he did stick by his family. Mcfinnigan doesn't really have any "grandfather" moments, and I don't remember a damn thing about Jack.
Pets
Santa's Little Helper Ladybird Snowball (all of them) Brian Griffin Klaus Roger
Pet evaluation: Half of these are more pseudo-pets. Santa's Little Helper mostly interacts with Bart, just as Snowball mostly interacts with Lisa. Ladybird doesn't do much if it doesn't involve Hank. As for the pseudo-pets.... yeah. Brian is pretty terrible as a person, but he does have his moments. Klaus just acts depressed most of the time(understandable), and Roger is.... well he's also terrible, minus being a good pet.
