You know, I was a little surprised when Florida came out of the gate so fast and got 10 points quickly. Made me think they may be better than I thought they were.

But it's starting to go like I expected now. Alabama's defense is just too ferocious.

The Big 10 is really, really, really, bad.

Wisconsin isn't even really dominating this game, Nebraska just has bad quarterback play and a terrible secondary. Wisconsin should beat everyone else on their schedule, will probably beat Nebraska in the Big 10 title game, and the get destroyed by 50 points against LSU, Alabama, or Oklahoma.

I'm glad we don't have to pay attention to Nebraska the rest of the year

Wisconsin is good.

They're VERY good. Best offensive line in the country, great quarterback FINALLY, and a great running game.

I'm sad Iowa doesn't get to play Wisconsin this year, even though we'd probably get steam rolled. Wisconsin is going to go undefeated no matter what, but you always want that chance to beat them.

Yeah, but it's the usual Big 10.

So they won't face anyone good. The rest of their schedule is piss easy. They should be favored in every match by at least 2 touchdowns.
I'll say that anyone with a good defense, and a good offense could probably beat Wisconsin.

Nebraska has a good front four on the defensive side, but their secondary is so atrocious aside from Dennard. So as long as you ignore him you'll get a completion every time. Then Taylor Martinez is legitimately probably the worst QB in terms of passing in FBS, so all the other team has to do is force him to pass it, which Wisconsin did.

They'll face some scrub team in the Big 10 championship, which will most likely be Nebraska, Michigan or Michigan State, maybe Iowa, and any of these teams will be lucky to be in the top 20 let alone the top 25 when they meet up in the championship game.
The computers will not be liking Wisconsin so their shot at the national championship shot will be a long one, even if they go undefeated, and they'll probably meet in the Rose Bowl against Boise State or something, maybe luck out and get Notre Dame.

If they meet Boise State, Boise will probably beat them tbh.

Hey, if the defense gets their **** together, that could be a possibility!

But it's not gonna happen because Iowa has no depth on the defensive side of the ball.

I don't know about "usual" Big Ten, but the league is certainly down this year.

Anybody with a good offense and a good defense could beat anyone. Wisconsin could beat anyone because they have a good offense and a good defense.

Wisconsin doesn't have that good of a defense from what I saw tonight. Their numbers may show they do, but coming away from that game, I don't think so.
Martinez was picking them apart early on, which is saying something, because he f***ing sucks. Game only turned around because he turned back into what he is, f***ing terrible and threw his usual interceptions.

So because Nebraska was able to come out hot for a quarter before getting **** stomped the rest of the game, Wisconsin automatically has a bad defense?

No, it showed they have holes, and holes that can be exploited if your team has a decent QB.

Also, Nebraska isn't that good of a team, they are horribly overrated, and still will be even after getting destroyed.

Kinda hoping that Oklahoma goes undefeated and gets in the NC so that we can get Stanford/Wisconsin in the Rose Bowl, as that should be a pretty good game.

I'd like to see that matchup, and have it prove me wrong.

Don't get me wrong though, I think they are a top 10 team, I just don't think they are a top 3 or 5 team. I think it's safe to say that Wisconsin will probably steamroll through the rest of their season.
At best Nebraska will be 11-1 going into the Big 10 championship game, at worse 7-5.

Nebraska against Michigan State, Michigan, Iowa, and maybe Northwestern are all toss up games.

But at the moment, I'm not a believer in the Badgers.

Well that was a whole lot of suck.

First play was AWESOME. The Swamp was all fired up, and then we even held them to a FG. Then our redzone woes showed up, and Richardson got going, and you guys know the rest.

I feel really bad for Brantley too. He was finally getting it going, on the way to redemption, and that all just got a swift kick to the nuts.

LSU beats Bama

blah blah blah some how LSU plays Bama in the Title game because these are the 2 best teams in the country with 15 draft picks on defense alone. Ridiculous.

Stanford can't get into the Rose Bowl when Oregon exists

Ducks have to win AT Stanford this year. I'm not convinced they can. If they do, hats off to them, but I just don't see it. Also, don't sleep on ASU. Most likely, the Ducks will have to beat them twice to win the conference.

Oregon was much closer to LSU than the score appeared.

Oregon GAVE that game away. 3 Fumbles in their own red zone? A touchdown off a muffed punt?

Oregon wins that game or keeps it within 3 if not for silly mistakes and Cliff Harris suspended. Also, the game was a HOME GAME for LSU. Arlington is a drive from LSU. That stadium was 90% LSU fans.

Oregon is going to God Stomp the Pac 10 like they did last year.

I'm very well aware of all of that realo.

But they really didn't stomp the Pac-10 last year. Towards the end of the year, a lot of those games were closer than the final score appeared. Cal SHOULD have beaten them, they lost that game due to bad luck and bad officiating. Stanford had them beat on the road, then gave it away.

The Ducks look worse this year than they did last year. Stanford looks better. This year the game is in Stanford. And, like I said, they'll have to be at a MUCH improved ASU team twice. I'm not saying they can't do it, but Stanford has a much easier path the Rose Bowl imho.

If 2 SEC teams play in a rematch in the BCS title game that would be the thing that gets us closer to a playoff

They should have a four team playoff that consists of the SEC championship game, and a game between the two best teams among "everyone else"

Basically "SEC versus the world"
