I lost my drivers license while running the Akron marathon relay today, I think I probably dropped it on Brown Street, in between Powers Street and Rankin Street, on the right side when facing away from campus. Should be near/on the street if no one has picked it up.

$100 reward for anyone who finds and returns it.

The fact that I'm asking for help on B8 should show how desperate I am.

Wouldn't it cost way less to just go get a new one?

I need my passport/some other government photo ID to get a new license. Currently my passport is in Texas, at my mom's house. She's gonna express mail it, but I have to drive sixty miles a day getting to/from work. If I get pulled over in the time it takes to get my new license I'm screwed.

Dude, I'd love to help, but I'm in Canton right now, and getting there isn't really an option at the moment. I could see about driving up tomorrow, but it might be too late by then.

It won't be that bad will it?

Can't you just give them the driver's license number?

It's not like you are unlicensed, you just don't have the actual card.

Well I emailed one of the race directors to see if any official picked it up and haven't yet gotten a response. If you could take a quick look tomorrow I would be so so so so grateful. I'd compensate you in some more minor way even if you didn't find anything.

I thought you had to have the actual card on you, though I'm not sure. I've tried to look up the Ohio law on this and haven't had much luck finding out what the ramifications would be. I know that for first time offenders of people who actually don't have a license, they don't receive a suspension, and I imagine it's more lenient for me. But I guess I'd still be looking at a nasty fine, and I doubt an officer would allow me to keep driving without the license once I'm pulled over.
