You remember that bastard. He wouldn't let Link cross unless Bagu said it's cool. Link went out into the forest to find this old hermit and Bagu was quite taken by Link from the get-go. Link traveled back to River Man and passed Bagu's note to him who, afraid of upsetting Bagu, allowed Link to pass. Link never forgot Bagu in all his handsome kindness. Nor was River Man's jealousy over Bagu's immediate favor of Link was easily forgotten. Thus the great love triangle began!
