Pretty much all the zombie movies that established the genre focus on them devouring every single part of the human, not the brain specifically. And furthermore I've never heard zombies in any movie moan "braaaaaaaaaains" or any other word for that matter. They just kind of moan "uuuuuughg" if anything at all. Or growl.

That was the first movie to do so, so this is probably correct.
