Thursday, I took my laptop into my campus's repair center to get my keyboard replaced. They asked if I wanted an upgrade to 7 (from Vista) for free, so I said sure, why not? I had the important stuff backed up and Vista->7 should keep data anyways.
I pick it up today and they said everything was good to go. Keyboard was brand new so I took it and left campus. When I booted up my computer, I go a "Windows has failed to start" message with an option to boot in safe mode, insert the install disk (which I can't), or boot normally. I choose the last one and Vista boots up. -_-
I guess they tried the upgrade but failed? And then didn't even check to see if it works? Ugh. Unless something terrible will happen to my computer, I don't even really want to bother with taking it back in to them.
