Okay true - let's see

It was a male singer, pretty sure there was a scene in which he's walking through the house buttoning up a shirt or getting ready or something. I sort of remember it as one continuous shot but I could be wrong. The genre is like... a feel good indie rock or alternative song. Not country or pop or anything.
