A bunch of my friends are at a party and they decided it'd be cool if they all simultaneously made fake statuses about how one of our friends had died.
Luckily I was smart enough to see through it instantly and know they were full of ****, but a whole bunch of people believed it and were freaking out.
Then one of them posts a ****ing picture, supposedly of the "scene of the accident."
Being as internet savvy as I am I was able to find the source of the picture pretty quickly and prove them wrong to everyone.
Apparently they were planning on keeping the charade up for 30 minutes or so.
I just cannot believe some people. There are things you just do not joke about. Is my generation that desperate for a quick laugh?

From: Mer_Mer_Yes_Mer | #010 Yes, he was. Not that that really changes anything.
I think it does. I mean it's still dumb and immature but I don't think it's shock-awful or anything. Now if they were doing this to someone who didn't know about it and they let it go on for a while, that's a bit much.

Hahaha going "fake and gay" on something someone posts on facebook is such a great weave-snatcher.
My friend posted a video that was of some kid overreacting 'hilariously' to call of duty and being filmed, and the first three commenters were like "OMG LOL" then I "fake and gay"d him and no one else commented on it.

You are too soft. When someone fakes their death, you don't disprove it. You push it even harder so that by the time he wants to admit he isn't dead he'll start to wonder if it isn't easier to just move to Mexico instead of admitting the whole thing.

Mer_Mer_Yes_Mer posted... actually, I should've pretended the news REALLY got to me and then convinced everyone that I had killed myself as a response.
THAT would've ****ed them up real good.
Well you blew that one.
