It's more of a Metroidvania game, but it's way more platforming-based than Metroidvania games usually are.

MediEvil is most definitely a platformer. Every time I died was from falling to my death, I'm pretty sure.

That game was for PS1? Huh, I only played it (and Croc 2, which I thought was way better!) on PC.

Saro, you're pretty cool. Just so ya know. Any Croc fan is a +1 in my book! That game was like, at least 30% of my childhood.
