I put my preorder in a few weeks ago. This is the first time I've preordered a game since SC2. Hell, I think this is the first time I've bought a game new since then, too.

I actually don't think we even know very many spoilers, outside of mechanical things like "there's a ****ton of hidden areas and they estimate it could take two or three playthroughs for a player to find everything"

its true that Demon Souls collectors is worth a bunch now
but wouldn't they be more prepared this time around and make more CEs, thus making it less rare and valuable?

I don't order online because nothing beats the joy of picking up a game yourself and taking it home with you. Preferably at a midnight launch!

and like most of these CE's everything will probably be in the big box it comes in. No chance of it missing something unless there's a production error

Vanquish, Killzone 3, Portal 2, Fallout 3, Deus Ex 3, and Pokemon Platinum IIRC.

Bayonetta is the most expensive!

Deus Ex 3 is still new so it's cheap.

A lot of the ones available online still are the paperbacks produced later, and much cheaper.

Dude if you have a completely sealed and untouched CE it will be worth a fortune a year from now, no matter how many copies there are, because it will ONLY BE ON EBAY.

Demon's Souls is level (1-2, 3-4, etc) based, with direct goals and linear (yet unordered) progressions and a fairly clear optimal loadout for your character.

Dark Souls is more open world, with a lot more customization and options, and supposedly will have a ore narrative story.

That sounds like I'm putting down Demon's Souls, but I'm not. It's a great game.

You don't need to pre-order to get a CE then right? I'd like to just walk into a store and get one. I called Play N Trade and asked the dude there and he said off the top of his head there were like 30 pre-orders for the game and there's some issue where they can't promise a CE. I was more confused by the 30 pre-orders part. I hope he wasn't just making a number up.
