Yeah. I knew abuses like that were going to happen when they made the infect ability. This is why infect should've been a flat number rather than based on power imhhho.

What's wrong Mental Misstep?

That Stoneforge Mystic looks mighty familiar...

Some of these make sense - Cloudpost needed to go and I can get Blazing Shoal, even though it does seem a little silly. Killing Ponder and Preordain is going waaaay overboard to try and get rid of Splinter Twin and Pyro Ascension in Modern, same with Rite of Flame. GSZ makes no sense.

Extended bans are whatever, no one cares about Extended.

Mental Misstep totally warped Legacy when it was printed. It literally killed entire deck archetypes because of its existence, and many decks became 4x Misstep + 56 other cards. Wizards always gets burned when they print free spells, you'd think they'd learn by now, but I guess not!

They are definitely being too trigger-happy with Modern, though. It's like they're trying to kill the format before it even gets off the ground.
