Been a while since we've had a Halo: Reach topic, but with 343 taking over with plans to adjust some gameplay elements (like reticle bloom and armor lock) there might be some greater interest. Personally, neither of those things bothered me so it's all good!

I do a lot of 4 on 4 Team Slayer but I'm always open to anything that's not SWAT.

Also, this week's weekly challenge is a LASO (Legendary, All Skulls On) on Pillar of Autumn. Even with 4 people, this is incredibly difficult and time consuming.

Won't be playing any Halo: Reach any time soon. My account was frozen due to someone hacking into it and using my card to purchase a s***-ton of MS Points.
Yaaaaaaaaaaay.

The main nerf is that any damage you take while in armor lock takes off some of your AL bar. Also, it won't remove stickies that are already on you, so you gotta predict em.

F***, I just lost two hours of progress on Long Night of Solace - like I said, I suck at this game. I was on the very last part, where you and Jorge defend the area, and now I'm back at the initial infiltration.
Holy s***, I forgot about how Halo: CEA is going to have all these old remastered Halo and Halo 2 maps that are Reach compatible. That's a Headlong remake, correct?

Screw paying full price for an HD update that doesn't have the multiplayer, which is what MADE that game. Don't care if it's outdated, should have been a damn option.
From: Blairville | #030 The Reach update comes on October 4. I think they're having new playlists as well. C'mon Rocket Hogs!
The update actually happens on Wednesday, but the testing playlist for it won't open til Oct. 4, so the only noticeable change at first will be 4GB players able to play co-op and firefight online (though not through matchmaking at first). And I don't believe the full set of new playlists - the ones that actually take advantage of what the title update does - is hitting til Anniversary, though there is definitely some kind of playlist update in October.
So, I'm now using version 1.1. The only difference I noticed was that the camo lasted longer if I was stationary. Or maybe it was that way to begin with... I don't know. What got updated?

The updates aren't actually in place at all yet, except on one particular gametype you can get from the HaloWaypoint fileshare to use in customs. Matchmaking won't see the updates at all til October 4, when a beta hoppers playlist starts up, and then when Anniversary launches there'll be some new playlists specifically for that (and that the update is specifically preparing for).
