One of the better games I've played this gen. Surprised to get so much character depth and actual meaningful underlying plotlines running through an atlas game, they're usually a bit flaky in that department. Its been a while since I've finished a game the next day after buying it, though it was probably too short. :(
well atlus tends to have good games but I was shocked at how good it was too. didn't look like i'd enjoy it but my sister bought it so i gave it a try. it was a pleasant surprise!
This game also makes me pine all the girls I know in my life are Katherines and not Catherines.
(spoilers)
How many of the NPC type barstooler folk are there? I screwed up a bit there only managing to save the reporter and the guy Vincent knew in school. Also who were the creepy old ladies supposed to be? >.>

They do but their persona storylines and characters are rarely that deep, they're usually more quirky and simple which is fine in an rpg with bigger things going on but not in something story centric like Catherine, so I was expecting that and got something that was far, far better.
