***SPOILERS**** just in case

Who else has done the end-game quests...? I can't find any more quests other than King Colony 6 shenanigans and replicas, but both the giant's quest chain and the chain to fix up you-know-where seemed to end abruptly- the former with just getting some gear at 3 sage summit, and the latter with killing some Telethia for someone in Satori and someone I rescued from you-know-where after fixing the teleporter.. Are there continuations I'm missing...?

alright so finished the following

replicas
giant's quest
colony 6 100%
4th and 5th skill trees for each character
5-star reputation in each area

also, on the affinity chart, everyone from colony 6 and colony 9 is linked together - as is frontier village aside from 1 little family, and hidden village except for the a couple outside the village

I got screwed on the point of return for the alkamoth quests though


there's still 2 quests I have that are uncomplete though, both of them are "fight a boss" quests that I can't for the life of me find, one's some monster supposedly on raguel bridge on a clear day, another's a yozel at the silent obelisk in satorl marsh. can't find any new quests - though I haven't seen Dulland since he supposedly moved to Colony 9

wow, this game just keeps on going. I've never seen an RPG go so high in levels for the main quest.

you know what sucks? advanced spell books being random drops on uniques. so annoying.

most people here are softmodding for usb loader usage

heck, I'm one of the people that actually imported the game, but I haven't actually used the disc yet

it's the bird that attacks you on the secret platform. I'm not sure why it lists raguel bridge.

another's a yozel at the silent obelisk in satorl marsh.
walks the path in a pack, only at night, during REALLY deep fog.

Also dulland's at the park place in colony 9 and doesn't seem to give anymore quests : ( I don't really care about NG+ or killing the 120 level dude sooo goodbye xenoblade! time for gears

started NG+ oh man

With the beginning cutscene of Dunban kicking ass with the Monado - he isn't holding the Monado, but instead the regular weapon he had equipped at the end of my game. However, the cutscene put the little glowing circle of the Monado over his weapon hah

So my roomate just brought in a new lcd tv to replace our computer monitor we've been using for games.

When I try to play Xenoblade, the TV goes black and says "mode not supported"

am I boned?

Of course not, assuming you're playing the legit game.

But maybe your TV doesn't support 50hz, in which case you'll have to figure out how to make Xenoblade play in 60hz.

On European Wiis, the game automatically detects whether the TV is 50hz(PAL) or 60hz. But on an American Wii, you'll probably have to tell the game somehow. Maybe there's a patch or something.

you know.. I don't really care about completing quests or unlocking skill trees or building up the town or doing any of those tedious things, but I absolutely love finally being able to kill those enemies that have been stalking me from afar for 80 hours. I spent most of my day today running through old areas and trying to kill level 75-90 enemies. fun stuff.

went back to Colony 9 and defeated the Gentle Armu Mother and Gentle Rodriguez

woo tons of awesome weapons and helmets that were better than what I had. Sharla and Dunban especially. The weapons they dropped for them literally doubled their attack power.

Yeah the New Game + is pretty stupidly done, especially in a game that lasts 150+ hours.

I mean, why is it even there? There's nothing new in it, and since you retain your levels you'll just breeze through everything, making the cool new sword pretty useless. It won't satisfy completionists either, since your inventory is limited so you can't get all weapons and items and stuff.

I guess they just threw it in there because players always go nuts over the very mention of NG+.

it makes sense to me. first playthrough can be a regular run and the second can be the 100%. I'm happy it's there.

I mean, Chrono Trigger's NG+ didn't make a lot of sense either since you blow through battles in much the same way. the only advantage is in the multiple endings.

In Chrono Trigger your buffed up stats serve a purpose though - beating Lavos early, or taking him on in the Ocean Palace when he's twice as powerful.

In Xenoblade there's absolutely nothing you can do in NG+ that you couldn't otherwise.
