- Call of Duty XP is going on. MW3 multiplayer is debuting and there's a big tournament for a $1m cash prize. They're just doing press conferences and short movies right now and it's already above Evo for viewers. Take that, fighting game scene. You can watch it here - http://www.callofduty.com/xp/ Also there's a multiplayer trailer here - -- the Battlefield dorks are downvoting this trailer to hell. ha ha. Some kind of embargo is up in 30 minutes (probably multiplayer impressions) so there'll be news on every game site under the sun soon.
- Dragon Quest game being revealed on Monday in Japan, Sunday overnight in America. It'll be streamed by Square-Enix. This is probably DQ10 but it isn't confirmed. dqx.jp is now a legit website so it's probably going to be the official one once the announcement goes live. I think this could be really interesting - do they keep it on the Wii even though it's a quickly dying platform? Do they switch it to 3DS? Do they go with real-time battles or stay with the old stuff? If this isn't out in the next year then it's going to be a platform that hasn't had a real game out in a long time. http://www.andriasang.com/e/blog/2011/09/02/dragon_quest_press_conference/
If you were to tell me this was simply video footage of a new Black Ops map pack, I would 100% believe it. It seriously looks like they've changed nothing.
everyone's doing DLC season passes now. this is no different, really. it's only a matter of time until you can buy a special edition that includes all the future DLC for like $100.
And finally, subscribers will get to watch "Elite TV," a service of "premium episodic entertainment" themed around Call of Duty. None of that content is yet created, but Hirshberg suggested that two shows would begin the service: "Friday Night Fights," produced by Ridley and Tony Scott, which will pit real life rivals (like Democrats and Republicans or policemen and firefighters)
I want to see this. I want to see Presidential candidates in a COD match.
From: ZFS | #021 I want to see this. I want to see Presidential candidates in a COD match.
Obama: "And I'd like to conclude tonight's presidential debate by challenging Rick Perry to a friendly game of COD."
Newcasters: "The election could hinge on this match. Rick Perry could really swing opinions with the 18-25 male demographic if he can beat Obama here tonight."

"I couldn't stand a day without a past or future. I need to live each moment to keep fighting here and now."
Honestly, seems like the kind of thing to buy if you're gonna be playing the game for hundreds of hour/several months anyway. I'm thinking baout buying the GoW season DLC that's $40 bucks, because I'll probably buy it anyway, and now I get a 33% discount
I don't want a situation like Halo 3 where its like, "Oh you didn't buy the maps? LOL good luck getting into half the f***ing ranked playlists, b****!" There's a good way to fracture your playing base.

It will launch for $350 with some Wii Sports s***. I bet my life on it. Damn, that KoolAid guy is awesome - NGamer64
