It's about as funny as it is annoying.

I've been back and forth with this show. At first, I hate it. Then it grew on me. Now it mostly just annoys me, but it's sort of funny at the same time.

I really don't know how to feel about Scrubs. I mean, it's a funny show, and it has some good characters... and yet, I never feel inclined to watch it. Not sure why.

I guess the thing is that every character is always acting exactly the same in every single episode. It's never really different except when a character has an epiphany or something that lasts for a minute until the end of the episode.

The characters definitely develop over the course of the show. I mean, yes, they retain a lot of their big gimmicks, but I don't know how you could watch the show and say every character is always the same.

I love Scrubs but I always end up hating the ending of the episode, where JD goes "[Insert topic here] takes many forms, sometimes it's blah-blah-blah" with a montage of all the episode's subplots while an obnoxious acoustic guitar pop song plays

The first two seasons are really good, but then things start to get out of hand real fast.

Go, then. There are other worlds than these.

Love the first five seasons to death, then it goes downhill starting with 6, only to get slightly good again at 8 before plummeting in the season that never happened

I kind of agree, I guess.

A lot of the times, I reflect on the morals or happenings of an episode and my opinion of it lessens. Every single character seems to have one period of the show's history in which they're insufferable.

It's one of my favorite shows on TV because when it's good, it's some of the best television I've watched. When it's merely okay, my opinions tend to decay.

Now this is entertainment!

Not too often, but it does take the opportunity to grate my nerves on occasion. I'd say it's more of an 70:30 ratio of funny to annoying.

I dunno. I don't really watch Scrubs for the comedic value. There are other shows out there that are funnier, honestly.

But I don't know of another show like that which tugs at my heart strings like Scrubs does.

Sitcoms can do dramatic storylines really, really well. I know that's the main reason I watch Louie - it's really not an especially funny show, but the dramatic aspects of it couldn't be better. The "Bully" and "God" episodes are some of the most thought-provoking programs ever shown on TV.

All in the Family is another great example, too; though that show is absolutely worth watching just for the humor itself!

I know people like different stuff but some of the criticisms I see leveled against Scrubs are pretty dumbfounding. The bad cast one especially just makes me think that people don't know what they're talking about.

Who said anything about a bad cast? The cast works well for what is intended. It just so happens that on top of doing what they're supposed to do, they're also annoying.
