Albert Wesker has challenged Bartz and HK-47 to a fight! Location of the fight: neutral, nondescript terrain. Which side will win?

Guidelines

- The fight will occur in real-time (like an FMV sequence). Gameplay mechanics are less important than how the characters would function in a real-time environment.

- The members of each team are ideal teammates capable of a pre-selected plan of battle.

- "Broken" refers to a lot of things, including insta-death, auto-effects, a variety of status effects (e.g., Imp, Silence, Stop, *not* Poison), and revival. Unless stated otherwise, nobody has them, though do use your own discretion.

- There may be SPOILERS from all of the games the characters are from.

Rules for Voting

- Bold your votes (using and ).

- Provide a justification for why you think the selected team would win. Fanboy logic, ignoring character assumptions or rules, and vague or unintelligible justifications are all grounds for having your vote disqualified.

- If you want to switch your votes simply bold the change; there's no need to delete your post, though you may if you wish.

- This match will end in 24 hours.

Albert Wesker is as he appears in the Resident Evil series post-resurrection and will maintain a balanced level of PG67A/W throughout the battle. He brings to battle his H&K SL8 Semi-Automatic Rifle, Grenade Launcher (Acid/Nitrogen), MRL, Hydra, L. Hawk, H&KMP5, 5x Grenades, and a first aid spray. All of his weapons are maxed out.

Bartz is as seen in Final Fantasy V in his Freelancer class, having mastered the Knight, Ranger, White Mage, Mystic Knight, Ninja, and Time Mage jobs. He has all the abilities and capabilities of the six classes and is using his best non-broken equipment.

HK-47 is as he appears in KOTOR, equipped with Heavy Plating Type 3, Superior Targeting Computer, Security Dominations Interface, Verpine Demolitions Probe, Advanced Gravity Generator, Carbonite Projector, Environment Shield Level 3, and Zabrak Battle Cannon.

Hmm, are Bartz and HK more or less capable than two Resident Evil protagonists I wonder.

Wesker

The match is over before Wesker's sunglasses drop. Too fast, too much weaponry, neither of his opponents can hit him.

Wesker is very quick, has very powerful weaponry, and can take punches like no tomorrow. Thing is, the dude just cannot see in the dark. Like, at all. It really doesn't help that he refuses to take off the shades!

Ninja Bartz can immediately create a smokescreen, as HK fires. This fire probably won't actually hit Wesker, but it'll let Bartz come in from behind and start wailing on him. Wesker won't have attacked in this time since he doesn't enjoy firing at what he can't see (No lie, play RE5. Dude walks around aimlessly if he doesn't know where you are).

It will be a very, very long fight but Team Bartz will eventually overcome and win.

This...is close. Wesker can probably wreck either of them if he gets in melee range (and he probably needs to, since he can't out-attrition them with Bartz playing White Mage). Fight basically ends though if HK can hit with the Gravity Generator or the Carbonite Projector (one is a reverse gravity well thing that slows the target, the other is a freeze gun)

Pfft. Wesker can see just fine in the dark with his glasses when he has his PLOT DEVICE MEDICINE in check.

Umbrella Chronicles shows that like seven times -- when he leave the facility, when he escapes the mansion, especially when he infiltrates the Russian Facility in the dark AND in a blizzard. Then there is CVX which takes place mostly at night and outside. RE5 was all about lumping plot device weaknesses onto him so they could kill him off. Hell, even in cutscenes in RE5 outside in low light he's fine.

That being said, Butz and a Robot are god slayers on the level of Lara and Vivi. They probably have this.

What HK-47's stuff does:
Superior Targeting Computer: Gives HK-47 the Weapon Specialization feat in blasters and blaster rifles. I can't find exactly what this does, but a similar feat for lightsabers ups damage.
Security Domination Interface/Verpine Demolitions probe: Ups security/demolitions. Worthless here unless he has an explosive I don't know about.
Gravity Generator: Slows the target for 9 seconds.
Carbonite Projector: Paralyzes the target for 9 seconds. The game says it has a medium range.
Environmental Shield Level 3: Protects against 50 damage of Energy, Sonic, Cold, or Heat damage. Also note that 50 hp is a decent chunk in KOTOR. This guy is essentially level 17 and has 143 HP: external image

The Environment Shield actually does help a bit, since it keeps Wesker's grenade launcher off of him

Remember when Oddy was making dragons and Wesker's sunglasses were argued as evidence of low-light vision? That was good times.

So anyway, Wesker can win this, but it'd require immediately taking out either Bartz or HK. Bartz probably isn't good enough to beat him on his own, but he is good enough to delay him long enough for HK to get a hit in with the Gravity Generator or the Carbonite gun, at which point Wesker's a dead duck. Bartz and HK
