Basculin should never have outlasted Momo.

It's... pretty much the second ugliest fish-inspired pokémon after Feebas, and the second most forgettable after Lumineon. I'm really not sure how it's lasted this long!

Edit: or Finneon. See? That thing is so forgettable I mixed it up with its evolved/unevolved form.

Coincidentally (or perhaps not), this is also the third round in a row where Bosco has forgotten to save/hasn't had time to save a pokémon he usually votes for! Lol, I hope the streak continues!

Basculin was admittedly a filler pokémon because there were very few fishes in this generation, the only disappointing thing about this elimination is that it took so much to happen while awesome pokémon were eliminated much earlier.

I... actually like Finneon or Lumineon, but Goldeen is also a favorite of mine so I guess I have a thing for fishes that don't look like ass like Basculin.

Four great eliminations in a row for me, and I'm down to just 18 despised Pokemon left.

I feel as though GameFreak really dropped the ball by not giving Lumineon Quiver Dance. Its Japanese name is Butterfly Dance, and Lumineon is a butterfly fish. It would've had something no other Water Pokemon did.

i'm hoping for a Quiver Dance tutor in game 3 to spread it out among the non-Bugs who fit with dancing attacks. such a great move.

Reeeally great round you guys. In a generation with awesome Water type pokémon such as yours truly and the family of yours truly, Frilly and Jelly, and Carracosta and his little bro there was really never any need for an ookie fish like Basculin. I mean look at him! He tries to be badass like a Carvahna but just comes across as a Feebas. What a poser!

Btw you guys really had me worried leavin' my goth bud 'til the end like that. But I don't like to dwell on the negatives, so good choice with Fraxure. Why... I remember when I was still an Oshawott, I used to pal around with an Axew. Cool guy, but kind of weak. Couldn't even use Dragon Rage. Just came across as a... sneeze... But anyways, he eventually mastered it and we've since evolved and he's totally past all that... Ah... memories...
