I pulled it out of the fridge and when I got to my room, it was there. I tried to catch it but it kept crawling in and around the sandwich. I got it but now I'm feeling kind of grossed out.

Do I still eat the sandwich?

Also, the sandwich was foil wrapped on a plate so unless there was some opening and the fly managed to get in there by the time I got to my room, it might have been there for an hour or two in the fridge...

You have to tear off any piece of the sandwich the fly touched. If you left it unsupervised and the fly could have been anywhere on the sandwich, the sandwich is now trash.

I took a bite out of the half the fly wasn't in (doesn't mean it wasn't there, I just didn't see it in that half) and it felt like I had 50 flies in my mouth.

I don't think I'm going to be able to eat this... ****

So I ate the half that I didn't see the fly in. Damn lettuce crunching made me think of eating flies.

I really hate wasting food though so I wrapped up the other half and put it back in the fridge. Maybe someone else will eat it.
