I try to avoid judging on character since I don't know half of the characters, and because I think of the word "babe" in this context as referring entirely to their looks.

It'd be different if this was, like, "Who Would You Like To Have Sex With Contest: Fictional Edition". Then personality would come into play for me.

Well I can't help it if I know these characters and the first thing I think of is "you *****". It makes me think of them as less attractive. Though it turns other people on, apparently.

So if, for instance, one of the girls is a complete and total nympho, which you find extremely attractive, you have to pretend you don't know anything about her and just judge her on looks?

Because the rules do say you're supposed to vote on who you find more attractive, and these kind of things can come into play when it comes to attractiveness. Maybe you should change the rule's wording to "most physically attractive" to avoid confusion.

Well i guess your perception of attractiveness can be based on personality if you actually have watched/read whatever the character is in, i guess i cant help that. But essentially the contest is meant to based on looks alone, but I see your point, and i cant particularly change the way you want to vote, so I guess you can bring personality in to if you want to if your stuck on determining the HOTNESS LEVEL of the two characters.

4/6. Expected losses, pleasantly (slightly) surprised wins.

Over-analyze indeed. It's like I said, there's no logical way to pick. That's the thing about this contest. How can you pick which -character- is more attractive, based on some number of artistic representations of said character? And that's if you even bother looking up more than the one representation Ayv provides. The logical solution would be to always pick the more realistic looking representation. But that's not just boring, it's also rather unfair. Is a character really more attractive merely because they were drawn in a more realistic style in this particular piece? It's not easy to choose "fairly", not as much as it is in a real babe contest. Understandably most people can't be asked to bother.

I'm surprised Poison did so well (a transsexual character who according to Japan has a penis, according to America is post-op apparently). But then again I voted for her opponent who is a girl's mind transferred into a series of robot bodies since a young age, interesting match. =P

As for One Piece, hey we've still got Nami, and we can pretend the Fairy Tail chicks are also One Piece chicks.
