I got up to play it this morning.

Turns out the download messed up and I had to redownload the whole thing. Just finished though, gonna start now.

And Skyrim won't be anything more than good, maybe great. Like every Bethesda game in the last decade, it will need mods to reach its full potential.

It's basically a sci-fi/cyberpunk themed game that makes good on the promise of open ended gameplay, with a superb plot behind it.

The FPS and rpg features mingle seamlessly and make an amazing experience.

Sooo... then I'm confused about the gameplay. It switches between FPS and RPG? So like one minute you'll be shooting enemies from first person view, and next you'll be coordinating attacks through menus and such?

Huuuh no? I never played Deus Ex but I think it'S just a FPS in which you gain xp for shooting stuff and then can spend it on augments and stuff. Also RPG dialogue choices I guess.

Naah, a huge Morrowind Fan, hated Oblivion and Liking Skyrim less and less with each new reveals.

So it's an FPS then... Hmm. Well, I guess it might be different enough that I'll still enjoy it. I usually don't like FPS games because I suck horribly at them, but I am more competent with a mouse+keyboard, so I guess I'll give it a try on Steam. Maybe I'll enjoy it.

What is the HR Augmented Edition and is it worth 10 extra dollars?

Is this a sequel in which I'll have to know what has happened in previous games to understand stuff going on here or is this a completely new story?

But it being a prequel means you will be spoiling some things for yourself if you decide to play the original, so there's that.

It's not an fps, it's a hybrid. Skills are a huge Part of his it plays, and you don't have to have good fps skills to do well at the game.
