It's an "internet channel." The internet thing he's launching won't just be him, they're planning several different shows, as well as the live broadcast of his radio show.

no. his ratings steadily went down as time went on, and the money he could bring in through ad revenue tanked after the "obama has a deep seeded hatred for white people" comment. I have no idea if whatever replaced him is making more money, but he was not their big money maker, that would be o reilly and hannity.

do beck's viewers even know how to use computers, i was under the impression they were mostly old people who are the least computer-literate demographic

That's also why he chose to leave. He didn't want to be beholden to any particular network or sponsors or any such thing. He's not even accepting private investment for GBTV.
