Jesus christ that was awesome. Final fight was a little bit of a let down but it was still neat. Father was an excellent villain. The epilogue episode was pretty great.
I'd say my favorite characters were Hohenheim and Selim Bradley. Olivia was pretty awesome too.

I went in hating this show. but i conceed. It IS better than the original. I still like that show too though.

Better final fight than the original, that's for sure.

I really love all the characters in this anime. It does a great job for making me care about them.
Blind Mustang in the final fight is great stuff, also his fights against Lust and Envy.

I rather liked the final battle in the original. It was a philosophical battle rather than a physical battle, which was neat.

I dunno, I guess I just like seeing everyone do their share to take down the villain, not just the protagonist.

I mean, even the normal soldiers were part of the final battle. Blind Mustang, wounded Hawkeye, teacher, Hohenheim, Armstrong, Greed, May, and I'm sure I'm forgetting more.

Plus all the other characters who didn't participate in the final fight, but did participate in the ones before it, which were just as important.

Yeah it was neat seeing everyone help, but father's god form in the end wasnt too impressive. The only neat thing he did was summon a sun. Other than that, all he did was stand there as everyone lit into them.

Well true, but remember we never saw his full god mode in action. Because as soon as he got it, Hohenheim put his plan into action and got the souls of the Amestrians out of him.

Father could barely contain god after that, that's why he couldn't fight back.

Well, he does fire that humongous laser beam. If I recall correctly he did a bit more in the comic, like summoning a tornado.

Still, he's overshadowed by his minions. Pride and Wrath are both about ten times as menacing and awesome as him.

Then again, this is a series where freaking EVERYONE is awesome.

The laser was neat, I suppose. But it actually didn't hurt anyone besides Hohenheim and Alphonse.
