I think either a lightning round or co-champions are perfectly workable ways to do this. "First to 29" doesn't really sound all that resolving.

Look at Slowking throwing the match and getting exalted as the true, legitimate champion (dictator) anyway. Public opinion of him couldn't be more positive. It's all as planned.

Really though, I dislike the majority of psychic Pokemon so I guess even Slowking winning would have been relatively okay with me. I'm just totally indifferent to it.

Honestly, I like both so it wouldn't really matter to me if Slowking lost and Mew won, but it kind of bugs me that Mew "won" under such shaky premises and a vote is being thrown out instead of clarified.

Sure that guy could have been joking, but he also could have been legitimately confused. Isn't this (mostly) America? What happened to benefit of the doubt and innocent until proven guilty? What happened to democracy? What happened to JUSTICE?
