How do you even file a patent for this? Especially considering other games have already played similar to this. Demon's Souls was the first game to come to mind here.

You'd get the benefit of an online world without all the pesky people running around.

This is why Demon's Souls does not fit in this category

That'd be perfect for a Pokemon game, I mean yeah a Pokemon MMO would be cool but imagine how popular it'd be, and imagine how many people would be everywhere, that'd kinda suck. A MSO sounds good for Pokemon.

Nintendo is absurdly afraid of the poor ramifications of online interactions, that's why their online is easily the worst of the 3 systems. If we did get a Pokemon "MMO" we'd still have to deal with friend codes and be caped at 16 friends at a time for no reason.

But even if that is the case, a very small percentage of the good Wii games are single player. Sure you can say Mario Galaxy is 2 player, but it really isn't. Hell, Mario Party 8 didn't even have online. Oh whatever, Grandma's just gonna stick with Wii Sports anyway.

A good example of a MSO would be a single player game with an Auction House, and maybe an Arena. Single Player PVE probably.

Nintendo encourages multiplayer, just not online multiplayer. At least the Wii doesn't have any games you need more than one console to play with four people unlike the other two systems this gen!

So basically, Adventure Quest/DragonFable/MechQuest? Why does this boggle the minds of so many B8ers? Get with the times guys.
