I had to ask because I was attempting to install something which would allow me to watch episodes of Deadliest Warrior without going to YouTube, and next think you know, 35 Trojans creep into my computer.

Could my computer's RAM crash again?

I have Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2011, which is how I know about the situation, but it can't seem to be able to disinfect the Trojans.

Here you can read up on Trojan horses. The article lists "crashing the computer" as a possible effect.

I use AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition 2011 myself, I recommend installing that.

Trojans assram your comp basically.

1. Go download Microsoft Security essentials
2. Install and use Microsoft Security Essentials. Update definitions if it doesn't do that automatically.
3.??

Avast is ok to use as well. MSE is better is all.

I've consistently shot down similar attempts, so this time I thought "let's try this just ONCE".

Obviously I will never do this again. I always have to learn the hard way, but then again, maybe I wouldn't have it any other way.

virus' tend to **** with common anti-malware programs so once you have 35 trojans you're pretty ****ed

Have you tried scanning? Cause Kaspersky in my experience pretty much does everything.

I tried quick scanning with Kaspersky. Maybe I should try a full scan? Then again, there's already a full scan in progress with AVG.

Run a full scan with Kaspersky after AVG is done scanning to make sure you're clean.
