maybe because the game was unreleased here
maybe it wasn't very widely played
maybe it was just legit terrible aside from the music
or maybe it was a decently successful game and people just forget how fun the music was

really this topic is here because i never got to play tobal number 2 but it turns out this song is really neat
dude in the background with the rival schools organ just enjoying his job so much

Live a Live has a great, varied soundtrack, but because very few people have played it, it's soundtrack has unfortunately gone largely unnoticed.

There is also music in this game that works brilliantly in context. It's really everything you'd expect of a Square RPG from the mid-90's, but without the mainstream popularity.
