inspired from that other kareoke topic battle thing.

It shouldn't be too hard to get going. There are a few chat clients that hold multiple people and has the option to have a video running at the same time. Biggest thing would be finding a kareoke version of the song on youtube or similar site to sing along to.

I think it would be pretty fun to at least watch. I am pretty bad at hosting things though. Would anyone else be interested in something like this?

that'd kill the charm of karaoke honesty. half the fun is seeing people do horrible in person, instead of over a computer and a mic. you can't really degrade someone properly before making an ass out of yourself like that.

though any random board 8 meet up leading to karaoke does sound pretty awesome.
(especially if we're all of age and can drink. then it gets really weird in an awesome way.)
