Granted it's only like sports games that are still being released but IT'S STILL NOT DEAD YET.

It came out in the beginning of 2000. It still has games being released for it at the end of 2011. For a business with an insane turnaround in hardware like video games, that's kind of crazy to me.

...Though in researching this the last SNES game came out in 2000, and that thing was released in 1990 so maybe it's not as crazy as I thought. (http://www.gamefaqs.com/snes/579658-metal-slader-glory-directors-cut/data)

*bought a Dreamcast for $15*

and honestly i'm probably gonna buy 2 PS2s before they discontinue 'em. one to have a new one to play as my old one's barely working if at all, one to have sealed.
