This poll implies that everyone would be playing video games at work if they could.
Not saying that applies to me, I would totally play video games at work if I could, but I worked at walmart, none of that happening. I'm sure there are actually people here who just don't want to play video games at work, or at the very least, don't have time to do so even if they have the option.

All GameFAQs polls are like this. I would say 90% of them don't have an option that applies to me. Whoever makes these polls does an exceptionally poor job of it.

Yeah, a good portion of the people who come to this site are probably 13-18, and it isn't unusual for those ages to not have a job because they're still in school and don't need one. I sure as hell didn't have a job when I was in high school, got one soon after graduation though.

i mean we weren't food stamps and furniture off the curb poor when i was a kid
but we never had a lot, and whatever we did have certainly never found its way into my hands
i just think its funny that you guys are acting like every teenager MUST have their own car, meanwhile my family didn't even have ONE car, but I'M the spoiled one
Yea I think fostering good work ethic was one of the best things my folks ever did for me
independence breeds success. The ability to pay for your own stuff, the pride you get out of it, responsibility, etc. Good to start young when you have the time, and the desire to be very social. Nothing to do with being mega spoiled, everything to do with it just being an example.Zz
I think that if a teenager wants to have a car while going to school, then yeah, they should have a job. I didn't have a car and didn't have a job when in high school, because I didn't need either of them. My family sure as hell isn't rich, but I didn't need a car, so I didn't need to make money to pay for it. I could easily walk anywhere, my school was only a mile from my house.

I didn't have a job most of the time, but I worked on the weekend. My family lived in the country, outside of town, and to get to any job, I needed a car. Starting out at 16, with no help from my family and no way to get to a job, I didn't have a job for a while. I worked when I could, but that didn't happen all the time. Don't pretend like your experience is the same as everyone else.
