Note that there is a difference between remembering a user and knowing of a user. Anyone could find out about an old user by searching their page on Board 8 Wiki, for instance. That isn't what this is about - make sure you remember the presence of this particular user, as opposed to simply knowing of them.
Each day lasts 24 hours
I don't see why you would possibly want to do this, but obviously the normal rules apply (no alts, rallying etc).
After every 5 days, a retroactive voting day is held. This is when you can vote for the previous 5 users that you may have missed.

Day 27: Board 8 remembers Slowflake (25-0)

A nice round number for Slowflake, who is unanimously remembered by the board. He joins a "TOTALLY ELITE" group. Sabin and MYC are the only two others to be unanimously remembered, though Slow hasn't had a retro day yet.
