I would feel bad, but I guess that's what happens when you try to be a "gangsta". I mean if going to jail for nearly 2 years at 19 doesn't straighten you out... ugh. I mean no one deserves to die for making a couple dumb life choices.. but I don't think he'll ever learn that there is nothing "cool" about that lifestyle.

I'm back for another summer.. so I'm in Lethbridge for another 5 weeks or so. The story is probably in your news, the link I found was in the Calgary Sun.

Also, Calgary is pretty lame as well. Just not as bad as the rest of the province. Edmonton is top-tier though.

Ah, I see. I thought it was sarcasm.

But yeah... he's the kind of guy that just always made bad decisions. Funny as hell, and great to hang out with (unless he was drinking), but really, really dumb. Hell, his second to last status update was "Hood mentality never dies, the hood is where I'm from" as if Lethbridge has a ****in' hood.

I'm about 90% sure he's gonna show up in a day or two, probably severely beaten, and nothing will change. Actually, scratch that.. I wasn't really thinking. There is a good chance he's dead. I forgot about the whole "witness" aspect and the fact that kidnapping carries a life sentence.
