I could have a grand total of 3140 karma but instead I have 1573. But I've only lost like two karma ever.

Are you talking about karma lost or missing? Because I'm doubting that you were warned over 100 times or modded with karma loss even more times and still managed to keep that account.

In any case I have 1,647 karma missing. Probably between 100-200 lost in moderations.

But they take moderation history into account on subsequent punishments. After a while you start getting warned for things most people would just get modded for and suspended for things that would get most people warned.

According to that I'm missing 19 Karma, but I got a 10 Karma prize for beating Bacon's score in the GotD contest so I'm actually missing 29. Since that's not a multiple of three, I'm guessing I forgot to log in a couple of days and I lost 27 through moderations.

On my main (foolmo) I hung around 9-11% of my total possible karma at all times

I used that account for 2.5 years and never got past level 31 for more than 1 week without being knocked down to 30 then 25 sometimes

I had an account that was 5 or 6 years old, and had a ton of karma due to the way it used to be earned based on per post back in the late 90s.
