Seriously I'm almost shaking in my chair because of how stressed I am. I think I've never been as stressed before, not even as much as when I had to be operated on my right leg when I was 10.
I'm scared ****less. I wish I had more self-confidence but seems like I don't !
I know it can't really go that bad, I'm new so I'm not expected to be all awesome but I don't know, I still feel like I'll totally screw everything up and end up jobless again.
Guh.

Cook in some food stand in a shopping mall. I have almost no experience in cooking expect for stuff like eggs and grilled cheese. Successfully made a risotto but that's pretty much my biggest feat in cooking.
No idea why the hell I was hired there but whatever, we'll see what I can do, I'm usually a fast learner so hopefully I'll get good fast.

No idea, I never really ate there nor did I knew of this place before my interview (they called me because I put my resume on that website where you put resume for employers to see..). There's Teriyaki in the name of the stand so I guess it's one of the items on the menu.

Ah and please note that I never had a real job before. I did some under the table works when I was a teenager and the rest was volunteering so there's much much less pressure. Those jobs were all really physical too, first time doing something that's not physical.

Well if they hired you with pretty much no experience, they're not going to be expecting much. I don't think you have too much to worry about. Although I can understand you being nervous.
I don't know ! He asked me if I ever had a job in which cooking was involved, I said no but that I cook at home (which is true, but I don't do it often !). It's a fast-food though, fast-food cooking can't be really complicated now huh?

GrapefruitKing posted... Also, how old are you? This is the kind of job you get when you're like 17, but I thought you were 20 or 21
I'm 19m turning 20 in September though ! I wish I could have got something better but I was out of the country until late-may and by then most good jobs were taken. I studied in languages so I'd rather work in tourism or something.

I will tell you this right now, and please listen. Please. Listen.
No, you never want to work in tourism. There is no faster way to hate the entire human race than to work in tourism. You will hate it. You won't think you will at first, but you will.
Take a normal person, put them on vacation, and you've got a bad person. Take a bad person, put them on vacation, and you've got the worst person.
Granted, I never would have decided to become self-employed so quickly if I hadn't worked in tourism, but still, it's not something I would wish on anyone.
Ah also there's a shirt that'll be given to me that I'll have to wear when I work there.. do they usually give more than one of those? Because I don't own a Washing Machine, nor a Drying one so I have to walk 20 minutes to get to one of those place you go to clean your clothes and it costs like 4$ for both washing and drying. I sure hope I won't have to go there everyday because I sure don't want to pay 100$ a month on cloth washing.

My friend works in Tourism and he really likes it ! It's in a small village though so I guess there's less people to deal with and thus less morons.

If he's been doing more than a year, that that's a real accomplishment. I can't imagine going back to that.
Only for 2 months ! But he's the kind of guy who laugh at what angers most people, I'm kinda the same way, takes A LOT to anger me. I'm actually impossible to anger except when video games are involved.

Yeah, that's what my buddy who worked at my old job for a few months said at first. He got fired a few weeks ago for tearing up some lady's checkbook.
Not that it happens to everyone. But damn, it sure does happen.
Alright so it went pretty damn well, my boss said that he was impressed by how good I was for a new guy.
But now I just realized that I lost the hat of my uniform.. it's not mandatory unless you have kinda long hair (like me). So I guess I'll just buy a hair net for now and I'll pay my boss so he orders a new hat for me. Or something.

People go out of their way to find a reason to complain .
And I work in a kitchen lol where you can barely see me.
Also, working in food is not hard, you'll be fine. (I did like 6 different positions in my first 10 days. It takes like an hour to catch on how to do something.
