It was a pretty good game. It wasn't as assassin focused as Hitman, though. There were times when I had snuck up on a target only to have a surprise cutscene instead of a clean kill. These usually lead to forced fights and running scenes. I felt this was a poor design choice, since huge fights and running sequences were normally used to punish you for not being stealthy enough.
I'd also say that the majority of your goals were not to kill a target, but to do something like plant henchmen, which would have been more appropriate for someone else to do. There was also carnival where you had to do a bunch of minigames to get a mask to get invited to a party where no one else wore masks when you could have snuck up on the party anyway. It was a fun game, but it was more of an action game than a stealth and stabby game.
Also, good god the ending. "Here I am, about to leap down and stab the Spaniard."

What the hell kind of ending was that. It was like, the first part of the game was the first three Indiana Jones movies, and the ending was the fourth Indiana Jones movie.
Anyway, good game overall. I had fun with it.
