and pretty much the same thing. Both parties cater to the social elites and all the major issues are nothing more than media talking points. Abortion and gay marriage (two highly controversial issues) are dependant on the court system and not legislators and presidents. Military aggression is a staple with both parties now (though they both try to down play it). The only real interest of career politicians is to stay in office, and they create entitlements for moochers and would give amnesty to illegals to create a cesarion like voting bloc. Neither party has your well being or the interest of the nation in mind.
it also has a lot to do with distraction, the modern upper class has become very adept at keeping the masses in a constant state of ADHD where they can't focus on anything that matters for very long. you have things like our debt ceiling, nuclear radiation still coming out of japan, multiple wars going on...and all anyone wants to talk about is someone getting off for killing a random white girl or gossiping about celebrities
