I killed two in one battle

I called it quits there

so I went on and I found some super special awesome sword

apparently the clutches of evil got Mom or something and Dad was looking for the legendary hero

only he can wield some awesome equipment

thats pretty interesting, the main character ISN"T the Legendary hero

at least, not yet

I decided to go pay a visit to Bianca and as it turns out, she no longer lives there

OF COURSE

I bought a hammer for Mr.Fixit, I got a pillow from the hotel aaand I found out some information from the bar owner

I was a bit upset that I couldn't find the dude that wanted the Tea Set. I hope I didn't miss out on this sidequest

we took off for Harry's Kingdom and as I was closing in on it, I got into a fight with a pack of Slime Knights and one of them joined me!

I've grown quite attached to Lil Pepe, I don't know if I can replace him

but I'm gonna keep him in the wagon for the mean time

now, to the Kingdom!

so after leveling up my Sir knight, I decided to go raid the castle

to my disappointment, there was no raiding, I actually just walked in >_>

the guard blocks me from going through the castle so thanks to the partytalk feature, I was able to find out that theres a hole that leads into the dungeons through the moat

while there, I find the real step mom! so apparently there was a doppelganger this whole time

so we meet with the king and he recognized Harry. He knows that mother has been acting strange so he urges us to look into a mirror that shows a person's true heart or something like that >_>

he gives us the castle key and before I go into the vault, I recalled some treasures in the topic floor so I go get those right quick

I then go into the vault where I find a mini medal. I haven't mentioned this but I've found 3 so far. do these do anything?

I read about the mirror and then proceed further into the vault and then I find a portal that leads into the peninsula thats south of the church where Harry first died >_>

I'm not sure why but I figured this was unrelated to this quest, I just figured "Oh, I finally ran into an easy way to travel!" and thought I should go pay Maria a visit while I'm here

apparently she was praying to see us and we showed up just in time! I liked how she said my name before Harry's

anyways, I went on to talk to some Nuns and one of them asked if something was wrong, I said yes for no real reason and she said "OH! You're looking for someone to open up some tower?" and I'm like, no, wtf are you talking about

then Maria is like I CAN DO IT and I'm like, what?

Surely there was something I missed so I went back near the portal and I saw the Tower. Hurrrr.
I was supposed to go there first, then figure that I need the Nun's help after that. but again, I thought this was ALL unrelated >_>

so yea, I go through the tower and it had a couple of tricky parts to get by.

I find the Mirror and head back

I use it on one of the queens and find the fake and we engage in battle

Despite me being overleveled (I think), The bosses ALWAYS hit really hard, even when I'm wearing the latest armor. This game is pretty unbalanced with Bosses

I beat the monster and all is good in the kingdom

Harry leaves and becomes the King's right hand man

so its now me and my monsters

I head to the dock and the captain from the beginning of the game arrives and takes me to another continent

I go into the bar and find some guys bullying a redneck dude

I save him and he tells me that a monster is destroying the crops in his town and hes trying to hire someone to stop it

he paid me half now and said I'll get the other half when I'm done

aw yea Hired Muscle

also, I'm glad I kept Lil Pepe in the Wagon, I guess he can act as my back up if a member leaves maybe even if someone dies

yea but doing them is the hard part!

In later DQs, there are skills that essentially make it so you either do a critical hit, or you miss. Pretty useful for Metal King farming.

alright so I went into the farm town and they told me to go west to find the cave where the monster lives

I do so, go through the cave, then as it turns out, Its Saber!

We engage in battle and I'm pretty sure I have to do something special here

so I try defending for several turns but nothing happens

I tried showing him the Ribbon and nothing happened

then I said **** it and tried wailing on him and nothing happened

I was thinking about it and I ran from the battle and wanted to see if anything would happen if Cudo showed him the ribbing (it was equipped on Lil Pepe)

I do so and it worked, he remembers me! Yayyy My friend!

he also gives me Dad's sword

so I have Saber back!

I put Lil Pepe back in the wagon and Saber is my right hand man now

I went back, got paid, and decided to go exploring

I found a town where some old guy is researching transporting magic. he says he needs a flower thats further west. I also found a cat in a well that told me every region has a unique Item. I found the stone in my hometown, I don't think I've found any others. I hope its not too late =(

The unique items are the stuff like the Tea Set and the Pillow. I can't remember if they're categorized in the item screen, but if you found something that doesn't do anything, then it's probably one of them (although some do have effects).
