Well, she was seriously like clutching her car door, ready to hop inside at the first sign of danger.

And I was telling my roommate that I found it hilarious that there were MANY people outside there with us.

None of them on their phones (except me)...none of them white (except me).

She clearly waited around for me to get off the phone.

I was outside talking on my phone almost two hours ago (I get no reception in my apartment).

I see an asian woman, about 30 years old, kind of looking at me, half-pretending she is about to get in her car. After a few minutes I can tell she wants to talk to me. So I finish my call and slowly start back toward my door but I kind of swing by where she is standing and she starts talking to me.

She asked if I lived right below her. I thought she was gonna complain about noise or something. I was like "uh...I don't know, do you live right above me?" She pointed to where she lived and I was like "Oh, no I live right there." *point*

She is like "Oh, do you have a scanner? Because I was about to run to Kinko's but they close soon."

I was like "Uh, yeah I have one. I can help you if you want me to..." She was quite pleased and she comes to my house and uses my laptop. I soon find out she doesn't need a printer or scanner. She just needs to save her certificate that proves she completed online training so I show her how to do this. But she has to do the training over again so she is at my place for like an hour.

We talk for a while. She tells me about herself and blah blah blah and I do the same. The only interesting thing is that she is Vietnamese and she got her Masters Degree in France (she speaks both languages plus English). Common themes are that she lives by herself, she doesn't know anyone because she is afraid to talk to people outside, and that she seems lonely.

Anyway, as I help her email the documents to herself, she gives me her business card and writes down her number on it. She then asks for my number and I write it on her notepad. As I walk her outside, she says "Thank you and feel free to come up to my apartment any time."

Ok, so...I find that pretty strange for a seemingly very shy woman to say right after meeting a new person.

She texts me like 15 minutes later and asks to "print" another certificate and asks if she can do it in the morning. I tell her she doesn't need to print it. She just needs to save it and email it. She says she doesn't know how and asks if I will come up and show her. I told her I would help her.

She just texted "it will take me like an hour to do this last lesson, is 1 am too late?"

I told her it wasn't and 1 am is about 45 minutes away.

SURPRISE CHOOSE MY OWN ADVENTURE:

What happens when I go up there?
