So I beat what turned out to be the penultimate boss. Having just used all of my Max Elixers, I was pretty pissed. The final boss reinforced my statement about bosses that can heal. I ended up outlasting its MP count and winning. So I'm pretty proud of myself for pulling through.

Did you find the optional boss in the alternate dimension? Thats the hardest guy in the game. I've only beaten him once and i had to be level 80 i think.
Noble 9 is already done, but i'll put you in as a recurring boss or something.
I haven't. Doing that would require a Dimension Ruby, and I have no idea where that one is. And if I'm going to have to grind another 30 levels I don't think I will. Beating the 13 summon is enough.

Oh, news update regarding story structure, as you know i was going to do it in 5 chapters, first 3 chapters with 3 different groups of 4, and then chapters 4 and 5 would bring them all together.
Not any more.
Same premise with 3 groups of 4, but instead of doing the chapters thing, im going to do a kind of FFVI thing and allow you guys to choose which scenario you do in which order. So basically the 3 chapters are still there, but you can choose which order you complete them in, and there are no longer chapters within the game.
Of course, its pretty much the same as it was going to be before, but instead of being Chapters 1, 2 and 3 in order, they are now all just combined in to one, and you pick which part of the story you want to complete 1st, 2nd, then 3rd. then all characters will come together and you are then allowed to pick your 4.
I'll get screenshots up when i can to allow people to understand more as im probably not explaining it too well.
I was more referring to being able to eventually switch your party on the fly without having to deal with low levels. Maybe alter the script to up the percentage of XP dealt to non-combatants to like 70%. I tried but I'm not as adept at it.

Nah i dont need to do that, i'll try and explain better. Ok so at the beginning of the game you will now get the choice of 3 scenarios, each with 4 different characters.
Scenario 1: East Continent - 4 Characters Scenario 2: West Continent - 4 Characters Scenario 3: North Continent - 4 characters.
12 characters in total.
I'm going to try to make each Scenario the same kind of length time wise, and also try and make it so all characters reach around the same kind of level from each scenario, so after you complete the 3 scenarios and all 12 of the characters come together for the last section of the game, you can then choose your selected 4 and they should all be round the same level. Theoretically.
