just finished the demo and I absolutely hated it.

some things I hated:

  • plastic surgery face syndrome (typical of Korean games)
  • ugly outfits when one of the main selling points is fanservice. I love fanservice but the outfits are just ugly and don't fit the vibe of the game
  • uninspired/derivative enemies
  • combat is just okay. nier did it better 8 years ago
  • lackluster, fanfiction tier overall plot

The combat isn't really like NieR, not sure why you are comparing them. NieR is basically just Bayonetta with the dodge penalty removed (and other simplifications), you can even get a chip that gives you Witch Time.

try the boss challenge? It's the best part of the demo and shows more of the combat's potential
