I was out and about running some errand and saw a red truck speeding by being chased by a dog, at first I thought it was a local dog but my brother told me that was an abandoned dog chasing it's former owners, the dog continued to chase that truck even as it turned into a busy intersection and out of my sight.

If you don't want your dog anymore just take it to the fucking pound why do you have to do resort to cruel shit like that, the way that dog was running it clearly loved them.

We never did that in my family, every time we lost a pet it was because they died or got killed, our very first pet died of heat stroke, he was a little dog, our second pet, a stray cat got eaten by wild coyotes, our third, a stray dog black dog got sick and went off somewhere to die so we never saw him again, our fourth was a gaggle of stray cats, they hung around the house til they were capable of running off and killing birds and never came back, our fifth was a weird one, we just found an orange cat on our porch one day and he wouldn't move and would fruitlessly hiss and yowl at us, one day he went quiet and the next morning I saw my grandpa load his corpse into the trash can, our sixth is our first official pet in a while, a toy mini doogle or whatever you call these tiny dogs, it's been like 4 years since we got her and she's been in good health. My brothers apparently have like several stray cats hanging around their house because they won't stop feeding them and they kill the snakes that tend to hang around that area.

I got off topic a bit but the point still stands don't abandon your pets, jackasses! This is Texas,too everybody has a dog, they could have easily taken that dog to a shelter to get picked up by someone who hopefully would value them.
