They did it like people would chew on a toothpick or something. They just didn't know it was harmful.

Lead is almost as soft as gold too,so it wasn't too hard on the teeth..

Trump lost the popular vote. It was the Electoral College that chose Trump, not America. Preventing worst-case scenarios like Trump is the only reason we have an EC, so it really should be abolished. They've failed at their one job.

Well no, I'm pretty sure protecting the interest of empty land over the will of the people was the point of the electoral college. It did its job perfectly, unfortunately.

And in WW2 why not put your mark on some rounds. The main factor was they were all cooking out of the ammo cans. Which was coated with lead.

Interesting fact, Thomas Midgley Jr, the guy that invented leaded gasoline would poison himself with it to prove it was safe then when he contracted polio his own invention used to get him out of bed strangled him to death.
