I think population of both matter, if you go into depth there are a lot of different species also, they bleed acid which will mess up a ton of blind attackers that tear their prey apart.

I think I remember the QP creatures being a bit larger in general so they have the size, but are blind and rely just on sound.

I vote aliens.

Not sure if its just horror movie tropes or actually part of the lore, but xenomorphs are basically super stealthy silent ninjas when they want to be, expert stalkers

Xenos are much smarter and prefer stealth. If they kan't take on AQP's aliens in a head-on encounter, they will adapt. Then there's the fact that sooner or later, a hybrid will be born, and that's bound to be even better at taking on AQPs.

They wouldn't need to, the Xenos would just impregnate the humans. Which is why they would win.

I wouldn't bet on it, but a number of people throughout the series gave "birth" to one without the huggers.
