Board 8 > Best Predator sequel?

I wonder how much of the board has even seen any of these. For the record, Prey is a Hulu exclusive in the States but is on Disney+ everywhere else.

I actually have never seen Predators. I saw both Prey and Predator 2 last year, and while I easily preferred the former I found the latter better than I remembered. I'm not entirely sure whether or not I like it over all, but it's entertaining, well-directed, and expands on the mythos effectively enough I'd probably say I like it more than not. The main issues I remember having with the movie is not finding any of the action scenes to be a standout and a lack of likeable characters (Jerry Lambert is a sexual harassment lawsuit waiting to happen and he's still the best character...what can I say, I like Bill Paxton so much! RIP).

I think Predators recaptured what made the original so good.

Prey was good as well though

Honestly I like all of them but The Predator. But I have enough of a soft spot for 2 that I had to vote for that one. It's weirdly my favorite of the series?

Prey easily, though really The Predator is the only true miss here. Good series!

Predator 2 also slaps but slightly less so.

Rewatched Predators last year in my series rewatch leading up to Prey and was very disappointed in it. Did not hold up well, with the exception of Walton Goggins.

The Predator is just sort of whatever.

Am I the only one who thinks the Predator aliens wouldn't be out of place in Metroid?
