I have Gatorade stocked for early mornings or feeling dehydrated. I like them but wouldnt ever want it while working out. Thats water time.

Not needed unless you're doing some kind of multi-hour long marathon sport session where you need to refill your glycogen levels during the activity. A normal workout is not long enough for that.

After the workout, sure, there is logic to glucose-heavy drinks like Gatorade to replenish glycogen, but normal food works just as well and there is again not an immediate or pressing need for that really. It will happen naturally unless you're not eating any carbs.

Haven't looked at Prime but Powerade primarily has fructose while Gatorade has glucose, which replenishes muscle glycogen rather than liver glycogen more readily and doesn't contribute to insulin resistance as much. So Gatorade.

Apparently Prime is low in sugars and thus is complete shit at restoring electrolytes. It's also very high in potassium for some reason. It's not well formulated at all to assist with hydration or restoring electrolytes like a sports drink is supposed to.

Prime is owned by a serial scam artist. Aside from that its also trash as a sports drink. It has a ton of potassium, which is great, but you dont lose much potassium in sweat. You do lose a lot of sodium through sweat, and Prime is very low in sodium.

Gatorade and Powerade have the same ratio of electrolytes that you actually lose to sweat, so they effectively allow you to replenish after sweating.

When I was playing tennis competitively I'd keep a Gatorade with my water. I'd take a sip of water between court changes and at the end of a set take a quick sip of Gatorade for some sugar.

When I was in intense labor (drilling) the company supplied as much Gatorade and soda as we wanted
I got tired of Gatorade and had soda in moderation

at the end of the day I would make a fresh brew of hills bros coffee and **** that was when all was good

I dont work out as much as I used to cause uhh I broke my back as a kid. sad

i dont think I will ever get to the age of 55 tbh

Ya, I keep it simple.
I will drink gat. or power, but I saw that and looked it up.
Once I realized it was a celebrity marketing thing I stopped caring.

These people have enough money without marketing their lives in things completely unrelated to their 'famousness.' Taylor Swift is a Prime example, as it were.
