People with my condition rarely last long. Posting here has been a great comfort though, thanks CE.

Hey thanks for asking. Severe insanity.

People with what I got in my head tend to kill themselves or end up wandering around and found dead in a ditch somewhere at best.

I don't think shitposting is a terminal disease.

And the funny thing is even if you do have Severe Insanity you're not the least well adjusted person on CE.

Near the bottom, but still, win's a win.

In a span of days you posted you just got out of prison, you got jumped from someone with s crowbar, and are going back to prison for spitting on a cop. Now youre going to die from insanity?

It's usually a single pill these days and they even have once-monthly shots available now apparently. But all that is going well for me. I've been undetectable for several years now.

With the latter, does that sort of thing actually help? I've been on antipsychotics before but maybe the dose was too low?

idk, mental health meds are pretty trying in my experience. if they really can help I'd love to give 'em a shot though

Severe insanity... isn't a real diagnosis. Like, I'd suggest you get a first opinion from an actual mental health professional. Insanity isn't even used in the mental health profession anymore.

To be fair, he literally posted pictures of himself in the hospital, for the "got jumped" bit. Maybe it was somebody else, for all we know, but it's not wrong to assume this is somebody who is legitimately just in a lot of turmoil in their life, so we probably shouldn't be purposely poking the bear. A little understanding can go a long way.

As for TC, I hope you can get help. It sounds like you recognize your problems, so hopefully you can pursue treatment to the fullest.

Mental health drugs can take a lot of time to get used to, I think is the big problem. At first, they may make you tired, or feel depressed, or what have you. But under a doctor's supervision, over time, they can absolutely treat the problem. And if you feel you are truly facing a mental health problem, it may be a good path to look into.

He didn't say he's suicidal. He said he just knows people with mental health issues similar to what he THINKS he is feeling tend to be suicidal. There's a pretty important difference. He even said posting on CE is a comfort to him.

No one said anything about suicide until you. I just recognize where other cases like me have ended up.

Yeah, it sucks how much easier it is to crack a beer or whatever compared to psych meds. How much more instantaneous the relief is, you know?

I have never personally been on psych meds, but I know people who have. For some, it was quite an event for their body to accept it, but it benefitted them in the long run. For others, it didn't seem to benefit them at all. For others, yet, it had a fairly quick benefit.

It's very hard to know what will happen and how much they will help, which is why doctor supervision is so important. It doesn't hurt to try, though. I can say that, for the most part, people I knew who took them did NOT see an instantaneous benefit, they had to stick with it atleast a little while. Everybody's body and needs are different, though.
