It's kind of influenced Nolan's movies (kind of for the worse) and how he's been chasing the same results again but really hasn't been able to.

It's a top tier movie.

And it's nice to see Michael Caine given the chance to show he's a really good actor.

(Not sure about Bowie, though).

If you've seen it, you'll know that it's pretty much one of the top "it's a tweest!" movies and Nolan has tried to incorporate that in a lot of his recent movies, to the point where I'm surprised he hasn't gotten flak for it the same way M Night Shyamalan has. But for all the twists, they've either fallen flat or not come up as satisfyingly as Prestige, with Tenet being one of the bigger culprits.

Dark knight trilogy, inception, interstellar, dunkirk is what I have in my head. Havent seen tenet.

I guess inception and interception had twists, but not as big as prestige. I guess you could say the batman movies did too.

How did Prestige have so many interesting characters while Tenet literally had none?

The Following and Memento had a big twist at the end and those came out long before The Prestige, it is definitely something Nolan likes to include in his stories. He also has plenty of movies (Dunkirk, Oppenheimer, Dark Knight trilogy, Inception) that don't have any major twist though. I would hardly say Nolan is chasing after that crazy twist like M Night when The Prestige was actually one of his least successful movies.

Yeah DK Rises had two small ones. Inception wasn't too twisty (in my head) as it was trying to put the complicated concept of diving deeper into dreams. But yes Interstellar also which I was meh about lol. Haven't seen Dunkirk myself.
