Better movie?

I'm rewatching Into the Spider-Verse now, and it feels more charming and comic-book like. Across the Spider-verse is bigger scale and more refined in art, but I feel like that makes it lose some of its uniqueness.

I'd have to see Across to its entirety before I comment fully.

Into had the better Spider team and didn't have a sound mix problem.
Still not a fan of the characters animated like stop-motion.

I didnt like the 2nd one as much. Cannon events and spiderman 2099 or whatever was obnoxious.

And did they send a girl with a love interest with the person they didnt want people to interact with?

But one joke landed really well with me:

"Theres nowhere to run.......My bad. There was somewhere to run"

Into was better, Across felt unnatural in it's plot, then it came out they made the plot that way because they wanted to stick it to people who don't like Miles Morales as a Spider Man, that's so petty and immature.

Into was way better, especially for the whole ensemble and it also felt more like a Miles story.

Across felt more like a Miguel O'Hara story with Miles as some type of baggage.

Both are still great.

That was the Metro Boomin Spidey that said that joke I believe. Both voiced and designed after him, pretty cool

...I do not get that. The antagonist gets some fleshing out, which is a good thing. But they're not even in it THAT much. It was a Gwen and Miles story.

To me it's kinda like comparing Infinity War and Endgame. They're two movies that kind of accomplish different things to me, even though many would say both IW and ItSV are "better" strictly from a narrative standpoint.

The whole thing is based around Miguel's mission, which sidelined all the others from Into besides Miles and Gwen. Miles is simply trying to see what's going on because he likes Gwen and then gets roped in. His parents also act super protective over him to the point it's infuriating.

Into was a story about growth and how he handled taking over for Peter in New York City, while juggling school and his parents.
