Because no where in my topic did I insinuate this was a male exclusive issue or that men were innocent of this. You added an unrelated idea to the very straight forward topic.

The fact that he singles it out as an issue about mens mental health rather than just peoples mental health implies that he thinks that its something either exclusively dealt with by men or dealt with much more by men and than by women.

I feel like what TC is saying is that when woman take their past trauma out on men, its discussed less and turns into "Girls being bitches are the man's problem, suuurrree".

When men take out their past trauma on woman, he's recognized as toxic and its talked about more openly.

Men aren't allowed to be depressed about anything. Get with the times.

I've learned that no one gives a shit about me or my issues and won't give a shit about me until those issues are gone, other than that there is not much to talk about with mental health

edit: actually this is not true :) i recently spoke to someone about an issue i was having and they were helpful. there is usually someone to talk to, but the critical point is that people are always more invested when the problem goes away rather than when you are actively dealing with it.

No, its really not.

Black Lives Matter does not imply that other lives dont, but it does imply that theres a justification for talking about black lives separately because they face different challenges, or the same challenges at a much higher rate.

Im not saying for a moment we cant talk about mens mental health. We can and we should. There are issues that affect men more than or differently to women. However, talking about how an issue affects men when the problem is identical for women is ridiculous.
